After lunch we gather up with other HP partners & HP account managers for a guided tour of the facilities by HP Manufacturing Malaysia Management team
Products Made in HP Malaysia
We are introduced to the products being manufactured by the Malaysia-Batu Kawan plant which are certain selected model of HP print heads. You will see these print heads bearing the made in malaysia printing on its packaging.
the Science of HP Print Head
The HP Manufacturing Malaysia team patiently brief and explain to us the science behind the print head and how precise and complex the technology needs to be in order for a printout to be printed out accurately.
As the process is very technical, this is a video from HP that provides a layman view of the technology behind the print head.
hP 3D Print Technology
During the tours, we also had an opportunity to have a close up view of HP 3D printers solutions - HP Fusion Jet 3D line up of printers. We were told that this machine is one of only few in HP plants around south east asia and we are fortunate enough to see it in HP Manufacturing Malaysia innovation centres.
